Quality Assurance Engineer (Automated Testing)

DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Engineer (Automated Testing) for a leading financial institution in Ghana who would help in performing and monitoring testing activities to ensure the quality, performance, and functionality of all core and non-core banking application software solutions released to the users meet business, security, control, and regulatory requirements. Interested candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or any related field with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in similar roles. The salary is negotiable. Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the evaluation and testing of software and infrastructure to ensure they function according to user requirements and conform to user guidelines.
2. Engage in all test phases – unit, system, integration, and functional testing & acceptance.
3. Apply, design, and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
4. Work with Senior Analyst, Automated Testing to test and analyze each component/phase of the systems development life cycle.
5. Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing.
6. Work with project managers to plan, manage and track quality test plan.
7. Ensure that all required testing deliverables are created including testing approach, testing scenarios, conditions and expected results, manual test scripts, automated test scripts, and testing control sheets.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in a business /IT-related discipline
   knowledge of software development life-cycle (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps).
2. Certification in ISTQB – Certified Tester Foundation Level will be an added advantage.
3. Working knowledge of industry-automated test tools/solutions (Test Complete, Selenium Web-drivers, Opium, Egg-Plant, Katalon, etc.)
4. Working knowledge of industry webservices/API test tools/solutions (Postman, SOAP UI, Apache Jmeter, etc.)
5. Working knowledge of prevailing Test and Defect Management tools.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
7. Customer-centricity.
8. Creative, results-oriented, and analytical with strong problem-solving capability.
